The Crescent (www.thecrescent.com), originally designed by John Burgee and Pritzker Prize winning architect Philip Johnson, opened as a self-contained mixed-use project with full service amenities for workers and guests. Vision 2013 Project marks The Crescent's first major renovation since its opening in 1986 with its objective to improve the property so that it will become an integral part of growing uptown environment.

Atrium Courtyard Fountain is an elliptically shaped flush-deck reflecting body that is designed to project a mirror smooth ultra-thin water membrane over its entire surface. The fountain is located center point of the courtyard and is designed, and constructed with robust materials to will withstand heavy foot traffic, and offer a low maintenance burden. The fountain represents a continuation of the adaptive design concept that we have developed, and continue to evolve, that gives the fountain added significance and viability to the environment. The display can be completely removed by draining the water from the membrane surface and recovered to a below grade storage tank, that is part of the fountain system, and returned at a later time to allow for mood space transformations.
